The benefits of our EKATOM® Fiber technology that have been demonstrated in various clinical studies
The basis of our technology
Far infrared (FIR) radiation is a subdivision of the electromagnetic spectrum with beneficial properties for health.
It produces vibration or resonance, breaking down the “cluster” of interstitial fluid, thereby boosting cell nutrition, and the removal of metabolic detritus through the body’s elimination mechanisms, stimulating cells and tissues*.
The breakthrough provided by Bionox has been that polyester fibers impregnated with ceramic particles (EKATOM® Fiber), in the correct proportion, simultaneously emit stable FIR on 4 wavelengths, turning inert fabric into bioactive fabric.

We have achieved 5 technological milestones
1 We have created a formulation of particles capable of emitting at the healthy wavelength (HWL) researched by NASA.
2 In the correct proportion, these bioceramic particles simultaneously produce stable FIR emissions on 4 wavelengths, turning inert fabric into bioactive fabric.
3 We have succeeded in making these particles adhere permanently, integrating them within the polyester fibers, creating the patent: EKATOM® Fiber.
4 We have used these fibers to manufacture practical, everyday garments that are also bioactive, benefitting large numbers of the population.
5 We have demonstrated, supported by reliable clinical studies, the health and sports benefits of our technology.
